Hello! My name is Keegan, and I am an eighth grader at Chapin School Princeton. I was born in China, where I spent the first years of my life surrounded by rich culture and traditions. In seventh grade, I moved to the United States, a change that has been both exciting and enriching.
Adapting to a new environment has taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of embracing diverse experiences. These lessons have helped shape my perspective on life and fueled my passion for learning and connecting with others.

I am an avid sports enthusiast who enjoys playing basketball, ice hockey, and soccer. My love for sports extends beyond just the games themselves; they teach teamwork, strategy, and discipline.
These teams have provided me with countless opportunities to grow as an athlete and individual. Whether it’s practicing drills, strategizing for a big game, or celebrating with teammates after a hard-fought win, every moment on the field or rink is unforgettable.
Outside of sports, I enjoy exploring new skills and hobbies. From reading about history to trying out new coding projects, I believe that curiosity and passion are key ingredients for success.
I am proud of my academic accomplishments and active participation in extracurricular activities. Here are some highlights:
These achievements reflect my ability in problem-solving and collaborating with others to achieve shared goals.
Giving back to the community has always been an important part of my life. Here are some of my volunteer experiences:
These experiences have taught me the value of contributing to causes that make a difference in the world.
Since I was in sixth grade, my father has taken me to work with him during the summers, where I watched him. His habits have been imprinted on and changed me. I learned a lot from this experience, such as the importance of sharp, decisive judgments, the effectiveness of listening carefully, closely, and patiently, and the major role that determination plays in becoming successful.
Aside from teaching me the importance of habits and characteristics, going to his factory introduced me to the world of engineering and chemistry. In his laboratory, there are various chemicals and machines. I always hope that there’s one day that I will understand how those machines work and become the leader of the laboratory team.
